Indication

Neutron-OD is a supplement that is specially formulated to help support healthy nerves( Diabetic & Peripheral Neuropathy, Neuropathic Pain, Sciatica, Fibromyalgia). Neutron OD combines some of the important ingredients such as Methylcobalamin (a bio-active form of Vitamin B12),  Alpha Lipoic Acid, Benfotiamine (Bioactive B1), Vitamin-E,  Chromium, Folic Acid & Essential Minerals to help improve nerve health.

Pharmacology

Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It helps in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin.

Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage and also decreases pain and numbness in diabetic neuropathy.

Benfotiamine, a synthetic form of Vitamin B1 or Thiamine, helps deliver essential nutrients to the nerves and treats numbness, tingling, burning, and needle-like sensations in the hands and feet.

L-Methyl folate prevents low folate levels in the body. It is also used to treat depression, megaloblastic anemia, and renal and hepatic impairment.

Calcium carbonate is a mineral that provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance.

Chromium helps control blood sugar levels in diabetes and thus prevents nerve damage due to increased blood sugar.

Magnesium helps increase bone mineral density and thus reduces the risk of bone fractures and osteoporosis.

Zinc, Manganese, Potassium, and Selenium are essential minerals that act as excellent sources for maintaining joint and bone health. They prevent cell damage due to free radicals. They are also involved in tissue growth and maintenance of normal connective tissues.

Dosage

• To be taken 1 tablet a day or as directed by Physicians/Health Profesional

Directions for Use

• Take medicine in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
• Please do not take more than the daily recommended dosage.
• Swallow the tablet/capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not try to break/crush/chew it.

Interactions 

Certain medicines can interfere with the action of the Neutron Od Tablet if taken at the same time. Always inform your doctor about all the medicine you are taking, that includes all prescribed or non-prescribed herbal medicines, dietary supplements as well as other treatments you are taking for any disorder. In particular, if you are taking medicines for brain-related disorders like lorazepam, antibiotics like chloramphenicol, etc.

The interaction of this medicine with other medicines is not clearly understood. Thus, you should tell your doctor about all the medicines you are currently taking or have taken in the last few days.

Contraindications of Neutron Od Tablet

If you are allergic to pregabalin and methylcobalamin or any of the ingredients of the Neutron Od Tablet.

Side Effects

• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Stomach upset
• Constipation

These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your doctor promptly.

Pregnancy & Lactation

• It is advised not to take this medicine during pregnancy as there is limited data about its safety in pregnancy. However, if the doctor prescribes the Neutron Od Tablet and if you are a woman of childbearing age, then it is advised to use effective contraception methods.
• It is recommended not to breastfeed during the treatment as it may harm the newborn baby. Therefore, the doctor will decide whether to discontinue breastfeeding or discontinue the treatment depending upon the benefits of the medicine for a nursing mother.

Precaution & Warnings

Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, or heart problems or other pre-existing medical conditions.

• If you experience any unusual symptoms or allergic reactions while taking medicine, please discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately.
• Let your doctor know if you have any surgery scheduled before starting the medication.
• Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding before starting the medication.
• If you feel dizzy/sleepy while using this medicine, it is advised to avoid driving and operating machinery until you feel better.
• Limit or avoid alcohol intake while using this medicine to minimize interactions and the occurrence of side effects.

• Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets.
• Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and heat.
